Clubhouse

Programs

The MBIC Clubhouse was created based on The International Brain Injury Clubhouse Alliance standards and the "Clubhouse Model," which provides rehabilitation through a work-ordered day. Members are integral to running and operating every aspect of the Clubhouse and play an active role in making decisions related to the program. As a result, we encourage members to consider the Clubhouse their daily job. Participating in the Clubhouse builds vocational skills, which ultimately increases members self-esteem and confidence in their ability to interact socially and contribute productively to the community. Below is a brief overview of the several work units the Clubhouse offers. Members, staff and volunteers work together daily to successfully run all aspects of each unit.
